Workshops & Retreats

I love hosting special events. Here's what's coming up...

Spring Yoga Workshop

Join me for an extended Sunday morning yoga workshop that will bring balance to mind and body. Inspired by the spring, we’ll open the body through an inquisitive and exploratory flow sequence. We will weave in a few longer-held poses, before moving on to a restorative guided relaxation. To close we will use gentle breath work to draw awareness to the body’s subtle energy.

As the natural world awakens from its slumber, I invite you to do the same.

This is open to all levels of yoga experience, from complete beginners to those with an established practice, ages 16+. Numbers are limited, so early booking is recommended.

Our session will be held in the lovely studio at Unit 1, Stourbridge Health & Social Care Centre, John Corbett Drive, Stourbridge DY8 4JB

The cost of this session is £22.

I look forward to sharing this spring-inspired practice with you.

Online Yoga Nidra via Zoom

 Sunday 28th April 8pm

Our next  Yoga Nidra session will be at the end of April.

If you have never heard of Yoga Nidra, or you are curious to find out more, here’s a little reminder about what it is…

  • Yoga Nidra is often referred to as a practice, but actually was originally used to describe a state of being or state of awareness
  • It involves lying still and simply listening
  • Sometimes it is described as ‘yogic sleep’, but you are not really asleep (unless you are! it’s not uncommon to fall asleep, as it can be very relaxing)
  • The aim is to allow the brain to settle into a relaxed state, but to remain conscious and aware
  • The frequency of our brain waves during a true state of Yoga Nidra is the same as when we are in unconscious, dreamless, deep sleep
  • A regular practice can help improve your sleep, turn off the stress response, reduce blood pressure, increase energy and more!

Our online sessions are really lovely. It’s not necessary to have your camera switched on if you’d prefer, so you can even turn up in your pyjamas if you like! If you can’t make the live session you can still book your space and after the live session you will be sent a link to access the recording. The recording is then available for up to 1 month and you can listen as many times as you like in that period.  Remember, a regular practice is most beneficial. Why not make it a date with yourself once a week and really feel the benefits?
